Hi, I'm Millie, the owner of Mistakes Were Made. I've been gaming since I was 16, playing everything from first-person shooters to World of Warcraft. After getting burned out on WoW, I picked up 7 Days to Die in late 2024 and quickly fell in love with the game. I joined a community as an admin, taught myself how to run servers, started learning how to mod, and eventually created Mistakes Were Made in October 2025. My goal has always been simple: build the kind of server I wanted to play on challenging, fair, constantly evolving, and backed by a community that actually enjoys helping each other. Outside of gaming, I work full-time as a Sergeant at a correctional facility in Florida. When I'm not at work or gaming, I'm usually building new content, creating custom mods, or planning the next season to make M.W.M. even better. Welcome to Mistakes Were Made I'm glad you're here.

Hi, I'm Ambi! I'm one of the creative minds behind Mistakes Were Made and the person who's probably responsible for at least a few of the mistakes you'll encounter. I specialize in designing custom POIs, hiding loot where you least expect it, and making sure zombies have plenty of opportunities to ruin your day. I believe every building should tell a story, every adventure should have a surprise, and every "this looks safe" moment should be questioned. So grab your weapons, watch your corners, and remember—if something goes horribly wrong... well, you were warned. Welcome to Mistakes Were Made!

I’m Mayo, one of the admins here, and I’ve been around since day one. I’ve watched the server grow, change, break, get fixed, and probably break again a few times along the way. 😂 A lot of what I do is testing new things, troubleshooting problems, helping figure out what went wrong, answering questions, and making sure players get the help or items they need when something happens. I’m not just an admin though I’m a player too. So if you see me in-game and have a question, need something, or run into a problem, just ask.

Hello! I'm N30Lumos. Nemo to some, and N30 to others. Like Ambi, I also build custom POIs packed with zombies. I am a delightful mix of chaos, fun, kindness and a *little* spice. I started playing 7D2D a few years ago and love it so much that I stuck around to see all kinds of changes. Cheers to a SHOCKING, good time with everyone!

I’ve been around pretty much since day one, so I’ve had the pleasure of watching Millie learn how to run a server from the ground up—and somehow survived all the mistakes that came with it. Most of the time, you’ll find me in-game just playing, helping players when they need it, answering questions, or working on one of my builds. Building POIs is probably the biggest thing I do around here. I enjoy creating new places for everyone to explore and occasionally giving Millie another project to throw into the server. I’ve been here long enough to know when something doesn’t look right too. If it’s something I can handle, I’ll handle it. If it’s above my pay grade, I send it straight to Millie and let her deal with the headache. I’ve gotten to watch M.W.M. go from an idea into the community it is now, and it’s pretty cool knowing I’ve been a part of it almost from the beginning.
